Natural Soaps

All my soaps are handcrafted in small batches, using the traditional cold process method of a 6 week slow cure. This not only results in a long lasting bar of soap, but also means that all the benefits of the shea butter and plant based oils (which are rich in vitamins, antioxidants and nutrients) are retained. Our soaps are enriched further by adding a variety of natural ingredients and our own blends of essential oils - producing a range of beautifully nourishing and hydrating bars which lather, soothe and pamper.

For people with sensitive skin or skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis, natural soaps can be a life-changing product, providing all the nourishing benefits to the skin leaving it soft, hydrated and refreshed. More importantly you will be putting nothing but 100% natural goodness onto your skin and back into the environment.

Coconut Oil - rich in antioxidants and has high levels of fatty acids and natural fats which help to create healthier, softer skin that can better repair itself. It is an effective moisturiser and it’s natural foaming properties are unmatched.

Olive Oil - softens and conditions the skin, it is also rich in antioxidants protecting the skin and helps to prevent wrinkles and sagging of the skin. Olive oil can restore the natural oils our skin produces, giving a smoother, plumper appearance. Retaining moisture and helping to soothe damaged skin.

Castor Oil - increases the lather in soap, imparting a rich and creamy texture, leaving a bubbly feel. It is a humectant and has a unique fatty acid which maintains skin hydration, providing relief from dryness and also helps to prevent wrinkles.

Shea Butter - is a thick, luxuriously fatty butter which is readily absorbed by the skin. It penetrates deeply, without being greasy. The high number of fatty acids helps to nourish and protect the skins barrier. The naturally occurring vitamin E is excellent for moisture without clogging pores and leaves the skin feeling silky smooth.

Glycerine - naturally occurring component during the saponification process that draws water to the skin. It’s presence has been shown to prevent signs of aging and provides a protective barrier. Commercial bar soaps tend to be processed to remove glycerin as it shortens the curing process and gives the soap a longer shelf life. This hard worker, simply doesn’t get enough credit - it moisturises, protects, improves the skins appearance and helps dry skin heal.
